Drexel University: Today and Tomorrow
A lecture and discussion with Drexel University President John A. Fry
Where has Drexel been, and where is it going in the coming years? Please join us for a lecture and discussion with Drexel President John A. Fry.
Founded in 1891 as the Drexel Institute of Art, Science, and Industry by banker and philanthropist Anthony J. Drexel, the institution has passed through several different phases to arrive in its current form.
Today, Drexel is looking to Philadelphia, engaging with its Mantua and Powelton Village neighbors, while also expanding its reach in globalized research initiatives. President Fry will discuss his time as President, as well as future initiatives that will shape Drexel in the years to come.
