Last week, several Drexel University College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) faculty members, students and alumni participated in the
ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2017) at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver (May 6 to 11).
The CHI Conference is the premier international conference for human-computer interaction (HCI), or the study of interfaces and intersections between people and technology. This year’s conference theme of “Explore, Innovate, Inspire” set the stage for facilitating collaboration and discussion on innovations in HCI. Presentations centered on a variety of topics concerning human factors in computing, from mental health to consumer data.
CCI faculty and students were integral in the planning of a new conference program known as CHI Stories, wherein researchers related stories about unique experiences and ideas that have transformed and inspired them in their lives and careers.
