Job DescriptionThis part-time position (20 hours/week) is for a current graduate student enrolled in a relevant graduate program.
The two primary functions of this position are:
- Providing research assistance focused on student success, accreditation, and rankings.
- Supporting Close School faculty and staff in the use of e-learning applications.
This position runs through the end of the Summer 23-24 term with the intention of being extended through the 24-25 academic year. Preference will be given to applicants who are available through Spring 24-25.

Duties / Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and visualize data to support rankings and
accreditation.
- Provide administrative
support to faculty members within the Office of the Dean.
- Manage and
update the CRM system.
- Assist in the
preparation of reports and presentations related to collected data.

- Support
the use of the online
course system (LMS).
- Assist in the creation of multimedia materials such as videos, audio recordings and print aids.
- Support faculty in applying ADA course accessibility accommodations.

- Work collaboratively with the Close School
team on special projects, taking ownership of projects as assigned by
supervisor.

- Maintain alumni database. Collect alumni information from various
sources including surveys, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, Dragon Network, etc.

QualificationsRequired Education: * Bachelor's Degree. Currently enrolled in graduate program
Required Major / Discipline: Data Science, Information Systems, User Experience, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field
Required Qualifications (eg: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licenses, Languages, etc.):
1 . Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
2. Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Data Science, Information Systems, User Experience, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field that contributes to the goals of the department.
3. Advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office 365 skills.
4. Experience with or willingness to learn Power Automate.
5. Prior Customer Service experience.
6. Proficient in data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel).
7. Effective organizational skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks.
8. Ability to communicate effectively on technical and non-technical issues, including in-person, online, and email scenarios.
9. Preferred ability to create and edit multimedia or interactive training materials using Camtasia, Photoshop, or comparable tools.
