Upcoming change to Adobe Creative Cloud authentication

July 2, 2020

Earlier this week, Westphal College announced we will provide our students with Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Today we're pleased to announce that we're streamlining the Adobe Creative Cloud sign-in process for all our faculty, professional staff, and students.

Previously, to use your Adobe Creative Cloud apps, you had to create a separate Adobe account, also known as an Adobe ID. Going forward, access to the apps will use your Drexel Connect credentials, the same login that you use for most Drexel services. These changes to your Adobe account will occur tomorrow, Friday, July 3rd at 9:00 AM.

Once your account is setup to use Drexel Connect you may receive a welcome email from Adobe. While signing in, if you are prompted to choose an account type, select Company or School Account, and then follow the prompts to complete your sign in. After your account is set up (for new accounts) or migrated to an enterprise account (for existing Adobe accounts) you will have access to download and install the Creative Cloud apps from the Creative Cloud desktop app. If you’re already signed-in to the Creative Cloud desktop app, you will need to sign out and sign in again to maintain licensing of your apps.
