Each year students in the Senior class work on a nine-month, self-directed project of their choosing. This exhibition marks the capstone of these efforts, showcasing the diverse accomplishments of our students. The opening reception is well attended by friends, family and industry professionals and is a wonderful evening celebrating our students' photography!

Featuring live presentations by senior project teams from the Animation & Visual Effects, Game Design & Production, and Digital Media & Virtual Production programs, along with members from the College of Computing and Informatics. The showcase in the Mandell Theater will feature the results of year-long capstone efforts by students creating compelling animations, games, and XR applications. The Showcase will be followed by the Digital Media Expo in Behrakis Grand Hall, featuring the senior teams, Digital Media graduate students, and student clubs.

Each year, Graphic Design seniors showcase their creative work to family, friends, industry professionals, and the Drexel community. The Graphic Design Senior Show Exhibition and Showcase website will premiere on Thursday, June 8th. In the weeks leading up to the launch and events, visit the Graphic Design Instagram and Facebook for project teasers and student spotlights. The Senior Show Awards will be announced on Monday, June 12th on our social media and the showcase website.

The 2023 Graphic Design Senior Show Exhibition and Showcase Website offer viewers the opportunity to see stunning work and meet our newly minted designers. Graphic Design seniors will exhibit projects that showcase their versatility and talent. Highlights include senior capstone projects, book design, packaging, publication design, web design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and motion graphics.

The evening of Thursday June 8 is reserved for alumni and industry professionals.

The Design and Merchandising Senior Show Event in 2023 is set to be an impressive display of creativity and innovation from the graduating students. The event will take place in the spacious Urban Center Lobby, which will feature poster presentations and large screens showcasing the students' work.

The topics explored by the students are broad and thought-provoking, ranging from sustainability laws and policies to CO2 emissions analysis between a traditional brand and a rental model. Notably, some students reimagined physical stores and malls while others developed business ideas aimed at helping small boutiques engage customers with immersive technology to produce ideas which solve specific problems.

The event will be a testament to the students' exceptional talent and creativity, as well as their unwavering commitment to the evolution of the fashion and lifestyle industries.

This year’s Senior Product Design class has faced many challenges over the four years. Come join the thesis cohort of the Urban Strategy Graduate Program as they present their capstone research projects. Each student will present for 10 minutes, followed by questions and answers from the audience. Topics range from historic preservation, to the relationship between healthy food and mass incarceration, to equity in school funding. By invitation only.
