On May 19, 2021, we are joined by Catherine Brown Mables, experienced broadcast journalist, radio news host and producer, television news writer, Emmy award-winning public affairs producer, website political writer, elected union volunteer and shop steward.

Catherine is a longtime leader in SAG-AFTRA, The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Arts. SAG-AFTRA represents approximately 160,000 film and television actors, journalists, radio personalities, recording artists, singers, voice actors, internet influencers, fashion models and other media professionals worldwide.

Catherine will join the Television & Media Management Graduate Program of Westphal College to speak about ensuring fairness in the workplace and on the air. She’ll also share advice for those looking to take that next step in their television and media careers.
