Drexel’s Animation & Visual Effects program provides students with the technological, story-telling and design skills needed to succeed as animators and visual effects artists in the highly competitive entertainment and design industries. To truly succeed in tech and digital media, students need creativity, versatility and an interdisciplinary skillset. Drexel’s Interactive Digital Media program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the aesthetics of visual design in crafting user experience (UX), as well as the coding skills and technical knowledge to program both the front- and back-end systems that bring digital content to life.

Drexel’s Game Design & Production program combines a strong comprehension of animation and interactivity with an understanding of design and programming. Students are prepared for cutting-edge careers in the growing field of game design, which has transitioned from an entertainment source to become a mainstay of education and training in the fields of science, engineering, health and “edutainment.”

Drexel’s Dance program is designed to encourage the deep exploration of dance. The stage and studio experiences aim to hone skills as a dancer and choreographer, with concentrated paths of study in dance/movement therapy, dance in education, physical therapy, and performance.

In Drexel’s Virtual Reality & Immersive Media program, students face unprecedented opportunities and challenges that broaden their creativity in the new and explosive field of immersive media. Students develop the technical and creative skills needed to create and design in immersive mediums, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and 360 degree video.
