Kelvin Vu is an artist and designer based in Philadelphia, PA. Originally from Massachusetts, he received a BA in environmental studies at Yale University before training in the year-round program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the artistic direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan. Kelvin moved to Tel Aviv in 2013 to join Batsheva - the Young Ensemble under the direction of Ohad Naharin and performed works by Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Sharon Eyal, and Danielle Agami. He also created his own choreographic work for the Ensemble Creates platform and served as the assistant to the artistic director of Batsheva until 2020. As a freelance dancer, he has collaborated with Noa Zuk and Ohad Fishof, Roy Assaf, Dafi Altabeb, and Shira Elkouby. Kelvin is a certified Gaga teacher and is now also a student of landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
