Jason has been teaching film studies at Westphal College of Media Arts & Design since 2018. His main interest in film concerns the intersection of movie remakes and history, specifically how the zeitgeist influences changes in narrative. A Virginia native, Jason has resided in Philadelphia since 2003, and currently lives in South Philly with his wife and four cats. Jason is also a writer for Temple University and previously worked at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his MLA in Cinema Studies in 2017. In his free time Jason can be found hiking, kayaking, reading and, on occasion, blowing the dust off of his guitar.
