Giulia Sebring is a European prêt-à-porter designer born and raised in Rome, Italy. She received her early education in a bicultural, bilingual environment from the Ambrit International School of Rome and later in the classics and liberal arts from the Visconti Liceum of Rome, where she graduated with honors.
She subsequently moved to the United States for her university studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University where she focused on European and Cold War History, while simultaneously completing a premedical degree track.
Surrounded from a young age by creative talent, as the daughter of an architect and professor at the University of Rome and as grandaughter of a couturière from Milan, Giulia returned to Italy to pursue a career in fashion design. She graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor and Masters degrees in Fashion Design from the Istituto Marangoni di Moda e Design of Milan.
Giulia has designed for prestigious design houses in the luxury market throughout Europe. Following Valentino, Giulia was invited to London by head designer Phoebe Philo to join her new team that was to create a new and global identity for Céline, set to launch the following year in Paris. Giulia then brought her experience of the luxury market to United States, relocating to downtown Manhattan to join the creative team of Tibi in Soho, NY.
Giulia relocated once more to Philadelphia, where she joined Drexel University as Adjunct Professor of Fashion Design.
