Jim Klein has had a variety of roles in his 30-year career in the music industry. As Chief Engineer of Platinum Island recording studios in Manhattan, he recorded hundreds of projects including dozens of albums, jingles, and film/television scores.
He has produced dozens of projects, the most notable being Pajama Party (Atlantic). He produced, engineered, and performed on the dance trio's two albums yielding three chart singles and selling nearly a million records.
As a songwriter, Jim has had over two dozen major label songwriting cuts, with several reaching the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
He has written hundreds of commercial jingles and underscores for clients like Coke, ATT, MCI, Bennigan's, Midas, Pillsbury, Bacardi, Canon, Glad, Canon, Secret, Bounty, and many others, and has scored numerous film and television projects from ABC’s “All My Children” to Nickelodeon’s “Pete & Pete” to “Operation Junkyard” for the Discovery Channel.
