Thyra Heder is a storyboard artist for film, TV, advertising, and the author and illustrator of four picture books for children. She was a Sundance Screenwriting Fellow in 2015 and awarded the San Francisco Film Society Hearst Grant the same year, along with co-writer, and director Brent Green.  She received her BA in Art Semiotics from Brown University and has worked as an illustrator in New York City for 15 years. She is a member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829.
