With fifteen years experience as a Production Stage Manager and decades in narrative, television, documentary, and commercial film production, Wendy finds herself engaged with a new challenge: consulting with film producers as a Covid Safety Consultant. It’s been an exciting and diversified career. After a successful undergraduate experience at Penn State, Wendy became a union Stage Manager. She was hired as the third greens person on a big budget studio film and as an Assistant Director on low budget independent film, both shot in New England. Soon after, an opportunity presented itself to travel to Los Angeles with a theatrical touring show. Sixteen years later Wendy had worked on some of the most iconic films of the 90’s and the early aughts: the Farrelly Brother’s DUMB AND DUMBER David Fincher’s SE7EN, and Tony Kaye’s AMERICAN HISTORY X. She has had the good fortune to work all over the world on narrative, documentary and commercial production. Teaching at Drexel’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design has afforded Wendy the opportunity to share her practical experience on how to successfully produce a project from development through delivery.
