Biography

Iuliana Balascuta is an excellence-driven professional strategically focused on driving value through operational efficiencies, organization and management skills. Invited to present at national and international conferences, Iuliana is an expert in compliance, research, accreditation and assessment. She is recognized with a national award for excellence in innovation, leadership and compliance.

Competent in adapting to a variety of intercultural and international environments, Iuliana is passionate about workplace diversity and equity as well as other issues that women face across the globe. In addition to serving as the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Assessment for the University of Illinois Carle College of Medicine, Iuliana enjoys teaching organizational behavior and management concepts to university students. She received her MBA in Business, MS in Public Communication and BS in Communication from Drexel University.
