Julianne Siegfriedt is a Sociology PhD student at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. In her role as a graduate student she is active on multiple applied research projects within the department that focus on homelessness, the criminal justice system, and health. She is also currently an adjunct faculty member of Southern New Hampshire University. Julianne has research interests pertaining to the intersections of health, family, and gender.

Siegfriedt has worked at UMass Medical School with an appointment at the Bedford, MA VA working on various projects regarding homelessness both in MA and across the country. She has also volunteered as a rape crisis counselor and mentor.

Siegfriedt received her bachelor's degree from Clark University in Worcester, MA and her master's degree in Applied Sociology from UMass Boston.
