Vice President, Events & Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) Community
As Vice President, Events & Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) Community, Michael oversees the strategic planning and execution of Catalyst’s events globally and MARC Community engagement. Michael serves as a workshop facilitator and speaker on engaging men topics, as well as topics related to advancing women and members of the LGBTQ communities in workplaces around the world. Michael is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Catalyst’s main fundraising events, which currently include the annual Catalyst Awards Conference and Dinner and Catalyst Canada Honours Conference and Dinner, ensuring that fundraising targets and engagement goals are met or exceeded each year.
Michael previously served as Vice President, Global Marketing, until December 2017. Michael joined Catalyst in 2005 as a member of the Consulting Services group, working with organizations to assess their workplace environments and develop customized strategies to further workplace diversity and inclusion.
Michael received his MBA in International Business Management from the University of Rhode Island, winning the Michael Roher Memorial Award for academic excellence and contributions toward the MBA program. He graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and French from the University of Rhode Island.
