Zenita Henderson has a passion for technology and has close to thirty years in the telecommunications industry starting with Toner Cable, Jerrold/General Instrument, Motorola Mobility (a Google Company), ARRIS and now the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and it’s global arm International Society of Broadband Experts. She has served the industry in various roles from Customer Service to Global Marketing working with service providers to launch new services, event management and creating executive briefing environments to showcase innovative technology. Henderson is an award winning community and industry relations activist supporting education, science, technology and math (STEM) initiatives, healthcare, diversity and inclusion programs in the cable industry.
In her spare time, Henderson puts her expert marketing and relationship building skills to work as a Board Member of several charitable organizations including Beachglow Concerts for Charity, Inc., Montgomery County PA chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Greater Philadelphia & South Jersey chapter of Girls Inc., and Executive Committee member with One Day Immersion In Cable, TV and Digital Entertainment conference, designed to encourage college students to pursue creative and technical careers in the cable industry. Zenita also serves as Vice President of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of Women In Cable Telecommunications.
Henderson was inducted into the 2014 class of Cable TV Pioneers, and recognized as one of CableFax Most Powerful Women In Cable (2016) and Influential Minorities in Cable (2014, 2015, 2016).
