Biography
Vilma Colom, of Chicago, IL, is the labor relations analyst IV of the County of Cook Bureau of Human Resources. While there, she is responsible for handling and responding to disciplinary grievances. She is also the national president of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women and the former vice president of the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement.
Colom has worked on President Obama's Women Summit Committee for Appointment Process and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Professionals.
She received her MA in Education and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BA in Education and History from Northeastern Illinois University.
