Meet The Author

Hey, I'm Arden Zohar. I'm a junior in the Game Art and Production program in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design here at Drexel. I'm well rounded in the field of digital media, working on video game, graphic design, and photography projects whenever. Collaborating with other students on these projects is easy in Westphal, which has allowed me to branch out and experience all aspects of the production pipeline when making media.

Outside of my work, I love exploring and taking advantage of everything Philadelphia has to offer. I love shooting street photography, longboarding, and doing a bit of urban exploring getting to know Philadelphia's every corner. At night there's a buzzing live music scene as well that I love to spend time in. You can always catch me up early morning watching Premier League football; my favorite team is Man. United.

In the future, I'm looking to share some of my experiences working as a game developer in my in-University game studio. We've been working on our main title S.A.F.E. for some time now and it is making progress every day. You can also expect me to write about some of the house shows I go to, and some of the random misadventures I get up to with friends around Philly.

I hope I can shed some light on the life of a Westphal student here at Drexel.

There's a lot to do inside and outside the program. Philadelphia, I believe, has a little something for everybody, and is a great college town to sink some teeth into. My advice is to make the most out of your college experience, and I hope some of my posts can give you some insight on possibilities for your next 4–5 years as an undergrad.

Arden Zohar is a current Game Art and Production junior from Westchester County, NY. He also has a minor in Photography, and loves to work on all types of media. Between projects he enjoys the house show scene around Drexel, and exploring Philadelphia. You can see some of his work at
