I quote movies regularly, love reading, and I have been known to "nerd out" in the office over a variety of topics. Shortly after graduating college, I realized I loved helping students through the college process so that they could discover all that higher education has to offer. I'm glad I can continue my passion here at Drexel!
What advice would you give to a high school student applying to college?
Transfer students deserve to find a best-fit college, just like anyone else going through the college process. I always encourage students to visit if possible; this helps them to really know if they can "see" themselves at that school. Also, do not be afraid to ask questions -- we're here to help you! We understand the transfer application process can seem overwhelming since most students do not have a lot of exposure to this process. But I promise it's not as scary as you think.
- Place on Campus:
- Papadakis Integrated Science Building - the Biowall
- Restaurant/Food Truck:
- The Cucina Zapata truck behind the Main Building. It serves Mexican-Thai fusion food, including my favorite lunch, Short Rib Thai Tacos.
- Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
- The Mann Center. It's an outdoor music venue in West Philadelphia. If you buy "lawn seats," you can just bring a blanket and lay out on the grass while enjoying fantastic music.
