I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. During my undergraduate career, I discovered my love for helping students and families navigate the college process. I'm thrilled to pursue this passion at Drexel! Outside of work, you can find me planning my next travel adventure or testing out a new vegetarian recipe.
What advice would you give to a high school student applying to college?
Pay attention to deadlines and start planning early! Give yourself plenty of time to request letters of recommendation, write an essay that you feel confident about, and to conduct thorough research of schools to determine whether or not they are a match for you. Also, check out the Scholly mobile app or website, developed by a Drexel alum, which allows you to search for personalized scholarships.
- Place on Campus:
- The Biowall located in Papadakis Integrated Science Building (PISB) is my favorite.
- Restaurant/Food Truck:
- Jose Pistola's is less than 2 miles away from campus in Rittenhouse Square. Their buffalo cauliflower tacos are out of this world! I try to catch the Papermill food truck when it is around campus. Home of the "spurrito" (spring roll burrito!) ... need I say more? They have great vegetarian options.
- Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
- As a foodie, my favorite spot in Philadelphia is the Reading Terminal Market. The market has over 80 vendors so there's always something new to try and it's also home to Bassetts, the oldest ice cream company in the country!
