Join us for another edition of the UHC's Invited Speaker Series with Rebekah Israel Cross, Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences at The University of Chicago!

Cross' research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to explore how structural inequality impacts health. Her work involves conceptualizing and measuring racism, unpacking the relationships between racism, housing, and health, and highlighting how the field of public health perpetuates racism. Recent publications include "Can neighborhood eviction filings explain the impact of gentrification on preterm birth among Black birthing people in the San Francisco Bay Area? A multi-level mediation analysis" and "Linking Racism to HIV Care Continuum Engagement among African Americans: A Scoping Review to Assess the State of the Science and Inform a Research Agenda."

Registration is free for all in the DSPH community. If you plan to attend in person, no need to register; we'll see you at Nesbitt!
