How to Apply To Become an Undergraduate RA

There is a formal process for Undergraduate RA selection that takes place mainly during the winter term of the academic year. Interested applicants are required to complete the following steps:

  • Attend an RA Selection Information Meeting
  • Submit an application (only accessible if you attended an information meeting)
  • Participate in a video submission (details will be emailed to selected candidates)
  • Participate in an individual interview (details will be emailed to selected candidates)
  • Participate in a group process selection session (details will be emailed to selected candidates)

2024 Undergraduate RA Selection Timeline

Below is the schedule for the 2024 RA Selection Process.

Undergraduate RA Selection Information Meetings

Below is a list of dates and locations for the RA Selection Information Meetings. This is the first step in the process and all interested applicants are required to attend a session and sign in. All sessions will take place virtually. Interested candidates must register for a session via Zoom no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the session.

Undergraduate RA Application

Anyone who has attended an information meeting will receive access to the RA application, which must be fully completed by Monday, January 15, 2024 by 8 a.m. in order to move forward in the process. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Selection Notification

Letters will be sent to all applicants indicating if they are being offered a position for the 2024–2025 academic year during the last week in March via Drexel email.

Applicants will receive one of three emails:

  • Position Offer: States that you are being offered an RA position for the 2024–2025 academic year.
  • Alternate Offer: States that you are being offered a spot in the alternate pool. The alternate pool is a group of candidates who will be considered for RA positions that become available throughout the summer and academic year.
  • No Position Offer: States that we are unable to offer you an RA position.
