Disciplinary Record Requests
There are typically three types of requests for records from or for current and past Drexel Students. They all must be accompanied by a signature waiver release signed by the Student and provided by the requesting person/agency. The process by which these requests are handled will vary for each of the three. Please read the information below to see how to handle your request.
The three types of requests are:
- Federal agents, government agencies, and other law enforcement
- Education verification requests
- Student conduct background/conduct history checks

Student Conduct Background/Conduct History Checks
All requests for records for current and past Drexel Students must be accompanied by a signature waiver release provided by the individual. If the request involves the verification of Student Conduct history, the request must be submitted to Student Conduct located at:
101 N. 34th Street (1st floor)

Current and past Students seeking to verify the absence/presence of a Student Conduct record may request a letter by writing to email@example.com, which should include their 8-digit University ID number or their user ID (abc123) if their 8-digit ID is forgotten.
Current/past Students and other University/college personnel seeking to verify the absence/presence of a Student Conduct record for a transferring Student may request this information by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org, including as much as is known about the Student in question (full name, address, University ID, date of birth, etc).
Please allow three to five (3–5) business days for the request to be processed. All disciplinary records, except expulsion, are kept for seven (7) years from the date of the incident. Expulsion records are kept permanently.
