Lockers and Lounges

Lockers On-Campus

Lockers are available to rent at the Hagerty Library, located at 33rd and Market streets. Lockers at the library are accessible during library hours and can be rented per term. Students do not have to provide their own locks and can keep the locker as long as it is renewed each term. Lockers can be rented at the Circulation Desk. For more information, call the Hagerty Library at 215.895.2755.

The following locker options are also available at Drexel:

  • The Drexel Recreation Center at 34th and Market streets also has lockers for rent. Locker rentals are only available for a full year. Students wishing to rent a locker at the Rec Center can do so at the Welcome Center. Students do not need to provide their own locks.
  • Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design students can contact their departments about locker rentals based on courses or departments.
  • The Charlotte Alletag Commuter Lounge, located in the Rush Student Center, has commuter lockers available to rent per term. Please contact Drexel's Community Student Association to request one to rent.

On-Campus Lounges

There are many great places around campus where you can relax, study, and meet other students for some help on your homework.

Charlotte Alletag Commuter Lounge, located in the Rush Student Center

The Charlotte Alletag Commuter Lounge is the most visible gathering space for commuter students. While the focus of the lounge is for students to relax and socialize, people can do light studying there as well. The lounge is furnished with couches, tables, chairs, and two 50-inch flat screen televisions. Students can also use the lounge's kitchenette, which features a refrigerator and industrial-sized microwave.

Main 220 Lounge

All Drexel Dragons are invited to sit back, relax, and enjoy such amenities as free coffee, live TV, and a conference space for studying or group meetings in Suite 220 of Main Building. The lounge is open most weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Groups or student organizations interested in reserving the conference room for private use should email dudostu@drexel.edu to reserve the space for study hours or group meetings.

For other areas on campus to relax and/or study in, check out the "Study Spaces" list on the DrexelOne app.
