August 12, 2020
Dear Drexel Dragon,
As we draw closer to the fall term, we understand that you are making plans for your return to classes. You may be feeling a little nervous and have some questions. Rest assured that as the University continues to navigate and overcome the many challenges of the pandemic, we will continue to fully support and help you not only succeed but thrive in your academic and experiential learning opportunities at Drexel. And your dedicated Success Team found in DrexelOne is eager to help you achieve the goals that you set for your career at Drexel and beyond. All you need to do is reach out and ask for assistance.
Since spring 2020, Drexel has pivoted to ensure that academic advising, tutoring services, and faculty office hours are available in the remote setting. They will continue to be available virtually to fully support our students everywhere. Our academic advisors are ready to assist you as your progress towards your degree, find academic support, and more — no matter the obstacles that appear to be in the way. Our team of academic advisors are here to guide all students through their development within an inclusive environment, as they educate and empower our Dragons to make informed decisions for success.
Steinbright Career Development Center
At Drexel, we understand that this pandemic has caused significant challenges for some students during their co-op search. The Steinbright Career Development Center recognizes that Drexel Co-op must remain flexible in order to solidify employment opportunities for students that are currently in place and lay the groundwork for more opportunities in the future. Everyone at the University is committed to helping our students find career support and experiential learning opportunities throughout the 2020 fall term, and Steinbright has been working with both industry partners and alumni to identify and develop new co-op positions and opportunities for our seniors to connect with our employer network. Our Co-op Advisors are ready to guide you to ensure that you are able to find open positions that meet your interests and career goals. For more information on the latest developments put forth by the University regarding Drexel Co-op, please visit Steinbright's Response to COVID-19.
If you feel like you are in need of additional support, whether it's trouble navigating studying or learning habits and behaviors or if you are searching for new strategies given this remote environment, the staff members in the Center for Learning and Academic Success Services (CLASS) are ready to help. Please don't hesitate to reach out to CLASS's team of academic coaches by emailing email@example.com. If you require support for a specific subject matter, then we encourage you to reach out to the associated faculty member or visit the Learning Alliance website to find available discipline-specific resources.
