Understanding the Research on Media Technology Use in Early Childhood

Thursday, June 24, 2021

2:00 PM-3:00 PM

A Special Presentation for ECE Faculty and Directors

Join Erikson Institute’s Associate Professor and TEC Center’s Director, Alexis Lauricella, PhD, to learn about the 50 years of research on children’s media and technology use. Dr. Lauricella will present scientific research studies conducted by herself and others in the field to help elucidate the ways in which young children can learn from media and the factors that make learning more complex. Educators, researchers, and parents will leave with the knowledge to make developmentally appropriate and informed decisions about young children’s technology use.
