Support for Co-op
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to impact our lives in unprecedented ways, our thoughts are with all members of our University family as we find our way through this difficult situation. We are deeply thankful for the entire Drexel community as we continue to stand together under such trying and fluid circumstances.
One of the ways this pandemic has affected our current students is through their co-op experiences. As you know, cooperative education is a cornerstone of a Drexel education. However, in the wake of COVID-19, our students are facing increased challenges as they look to secure their co-op.
Considering the importance of social distancing in this unique time, we are looking outside the box to explore other options that will not compromise the student experience, such as positions with delayed starts or remote options. If you are aware of any such positions, or are interested in taking part in the co-op program yourself, please reach out to our Employer Relations team at email@example.com.
If you are part of Drexel's faculty or professional staff, please visit our University Co-op Funding Opportunities for more information on hiring a co-op student.
But even if you aren't currently in a position to facilitate the hiring of a student, you can still have an immediate impact by making a gift to support students facing unexpected challenges.
By serving as a dedicated resource for our current students, you are playing a vital role in shaping the workforce of tomorrow. We thank you for all that you do for the University and our Drexel community.
