Tel Aviv is one of the world's most exciting, cosmopolitan cities. Full of restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, galleries, theaters and more, Tel Aviv has come to be known as a major hub in the world of technology, finance, LGBTQ rights, and is known as the center of the Start-up Nation.
Students live in beautiful apartments in the fashionable Florentine neighborhood of South Tel Aviv, a short ride from both the beach and the cultural center of town. By day, step into a thriving international business or arts environment. By night, step out and experience the best nightlife in the Middle East.
Young Judaea, an agency we partner with to provide co-op placements for our students, offers year-round co-ops in Tel Aviv. Young Judaea is an American pluralist organization, that provides quality internships, volunteering opportunities and high-level programming for students, teens and adults. It emphasizes personal engagement with the real Israel through multifaceted programs and opportunities and has been running Israel programs since 1951. Some other major programs that we run for college students and young adults include: Onward Israel, Amirim and WUJS Israel.
The specific position will be identified after an interview with Young Judaea (via Skype or Phone) whereby students will discuss their interests and skills and the types of positions they would like to consider. If, after the interview screening, the International Team extends an acceptance, job placement is guaranteed. In most cases students will know the name of the company and the job title a month prior to starting work. The agency will arrange interviews once a student is committed to the program, and it takes three to four months for them to secure the student's position.
