IRB #3 Leadership Change February 26, 2018 Rita Naremore, PhD, former Chair of the Social-Behavioral-Education Institutional Review Board (IRB #3), retired from the board effective February 1. We appreciate Naremore's many contributions and leadership exhibited throughout her time as chair. She has been a valuable presence on the IRB since she joined us in 2013 and will be missed. J. Michael Williams, PhD, has been appointed the new Chair of IRB #3. Williams is a longtime member and supporter of human research protection and institutional review boards, having approximately 10 years of service on IRBs, including five years as vice-chair of the Social/Behavioral IRB. Dominic Gullo, PhD, has accepted the appointment of Vice-Chair for IRB #3. Professor Gullo has served as board member of IRB #3 for past 5 years. Please join us in thanking Naremore for her efforts and in congratulating Williams and Gullo on their new appointments.
