New WIRB Submission Process April 19, 2018 Drexel Human Research Protection (HRP) and the Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) worked together to update the process for initial submissions to WIRB, which will incorporate Connexus, WIRB's submission portal. This update will enable the study coordinators and principal investigators to track the progress of their initial submissions. The new process will decrease the volume of documents required as attachments in COEUS. A representative from WIRB will demonstrate how to create initial submissions with Connexus at the April 24th Clinical Research Coordinators' Meeting taking place at noon in the second floor conference room of the Bellet Building, 15th and Race streets. The new process will become effective May 7. Any submissions to WIRB on or after May 7 should follow the new guidelines, which will soon be posted on the WIRB section of the Office of Research website.
