STATEMENT OF POLICY
Due to suspension of normal University operations, instructors are encouraged to use the resources available in Drexel Learn to offer online class options during the remainder of the quarter to make up the instructional time lost due to the university’s closure. Alternatively, instructional time may be made up by re-scheduling class meeting time through the Office of the Registrar at the option of the instructor. Faculty instructing classes that remain in progress at the designated closing time should conclude their session at the instructor’s discretion but no later than the scheduled completion time, unless the situation and announcement requires immediate closure for the protection of the campus community.
This policy applies to all faculty teaching all classes including but not limited to face to face, hybrid and online classes at the time of suspension of normal university operations.
