AY 2017-18 Classroom Space at Lincoln Plaza during initial stages of Schuylkill Yards construction
September 18, 2017
The Schuylkill Yards Development Project will begin transforming Drexel’s University City Campus and the 30th Street Corridor starting this Fall with the construction of a new park at 31st and Market streets. This gateway to University City requires the closure of the Garden Level classrooms at One Drexel Plaza for the 2017-18 academic year. Drexel has established a partnership with Lincoln University to use their excellent classroom space in Lincoln Plaza (3rd and 4th floors) at 3020 Market Street.
Working with the Office of the Registrar and the Department of University Facilities and Real Estate, we have outfitted Lincoln’s classrooms to achieve similar seating capacities. We will also be able to utilize the SmartBoard technology in each classroom which will be supported by Drexel’s Instructional Media (IMS) Services group. In addition to the classrooms, a conference room (Room 420) and break room (Room 429) are available for faculty use.
Signage will be posted in the Lincloln Plaza lobby and 3rd and 4th floors. Access is by ID card and elevators. Stairs are available for only to exit the classroom floors.
We have provided resources for faculty to best utilize the Lincoln Plaza space.
3020 Market Street is shown on Drexel’s campus map and identified as Building 176
