Online Complaint Form

In instances in which an equitable resolution cannot be reached through the prescribed procedure for an informal student complaint as described above, the University has defined a clear path for students to submit a formal complaint. A formal complaint is defined as a written statement by an enrolled student who believes that she/he has been treated in an arbitrary or capricious manner, and that the treatment/response/violation that she/he has received is not consistent with the University’s policies and/or procedures as stated in an official document.  Only enrolled students may submit a formal complaint.

The complaint must include a description, action taken by the student to resolve the matter informally to date [person(s) with whom the student spoke and the date(s) of those interactions], the policy or procedure violated if applicable and known, and the desired remedy which the student seeks. Your complaints will be submitted using the online student complaint form. All submitted complaints will be reviewed in an impartial manner, and the complainant will receive a response in a timely fashion. All Drexel University faculty and staff are committed to working diligently to create a constructive dialogue amongst all parties in order to facilitate a resolution of the problem.

The student must agree to accept that once a formal complaint has been submitted, an investigation concluded and a decision rendered, then that decision stands and no further appeal is permitted.
