Desmond is a construction management major who also freelances within theatre production in his free time. Drexel theater is important to him because it's where he's found his home away from home. It's helped him to learn even more about production and build his skills with carpentry and lighting.

He is happy to be awarded the Ann Hsu scholarship and hopes that he can honor her name as he continues working with Drexel theater. Outside of Drexel, he also volunteers with the Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild and is on their events committee to help create and plan events aboard the ship.
