ASPPH Fellowship Programs

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) offer fellowship and internship programs for current masters and doctoral level students as well as a recent graduates (within 5 years) of CEPH accredited, ASPPH member schools (including Drexel).

The various programs provide academic training and hands-on public health experience to further develop their professional skills in public health. In addition, on-site mentoring from public health professionals provides valuable career guidance and networking opportunities.

Fellowship programs include the following:

  • ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program: Provides leadership training in public health, prevention practice, and policy.
  • ASPPH Public Health Philanthropy Fellowship Program: Learn about the field of public health philanthropy through active participation and deep practical application in the areas that include, but are not limited to, program development, strategic planning, grants review and monitoring, and data analysis and scientific inquiry.
  • ASPPH/EPA Environmental Health Fellowship Program: Work with the EPA on current and emerging environmental public health needs.
  • ASPPH/NHTSA Public Health Fellowship Program: Work with national experts in injury prevention and motor vehicle and highway safety issues to examine the causes and etiology of motor vehicle crashes and injuries.
