Broader Impacts and Peer Review for the NSF GRFP (NSF GRFP Workshop 4 of 4)
Thursday, August 26, 2021
7:00 PM-9:00 PM
The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides selected fellows with three years of funding, including a living stipend and tuition funds, to support the research phase of their doctoral degree. The current application cycle is open to US citizens planning to begin a research-focused graduate program in Fall 2022, or who will be in the 1st or 2nd year of a PhD in STEM or the Social Sciences in Fall 2021. This final workshop of our series on preparing a GRFP application will break down how to clearly communicate the broader impacts of your work, one of the most important selection criteria for GRFP. The second half of the workshop will provide peer review on attendees’ current draft applications. You do not need to have attended previous GRFP workshops to benefit from this one. You can find preparatory materials for this workshop, as well as materials from the previous workshops, at https://drexel0.sharepoint.com/sites/Pennoni-UREP-Public/Fellowships/SitePages/NSF-GRFP-Workshops-and-Events.aspx
