Fellowships for STEM Graduate Students Information Session

Thursday, July 2, 2020

12:00 PM-1:00 PM

In this session we will cover the basics of the types of fellowships available for graduate students in STEM fields, how to search for the right funding match, and tips for developing a strong application. We will also share program details and selection criteria for some of the most widely applicable fellowships for STEM graduate students, including the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP), the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship, and the Hertz Fellowship. Recent NDSEG Fellow Kyle Juretus (PhD Computer and Electrical Engineering) will join us to share their experience with the application and how the award has impacted their graduate experience.
