Developing a Personal Statement for the NSF GRFP (NSF GRFP Workshop 3 of 4)

Thursday, August 13, 2020

5:30 PM-7:00 PM

The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides selected fellows with three years of funding, including a living stipend and tuition funds, to support the research phase of their doctoral degree. The current application cyle is open to US citizens planning to begin a research-focused graduate program in Fall 2021, or who will be in the 1st or 2nd year of a PhD in STEM or the Social Sciences in Fall 2020.

This third of four GRFP application workshops will guide you through essential dimensions of writing a strong personal statement, including how to select content, define a structure, and reflect meaningfully on your experiences. You do not need to have attended previous GRFP workshops to benefit from this one!
