Film Screening and Q&A with Director Tony West

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

5:00 PM-7:30 PM

St. Louis Magazine called "The Safe Side of the Fence" "...a devastating, disturbing, and deeply poignant documentary...." about the nuclear workers who refined large amounts of uranium during World War II's Manhattan Project.

This documentary explores the fallout of creating some of the world's first nuclear waste.

Join us for a free film screening and Q&A with director Tony West, a videographer who has covered professional sports such as Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, the National Football League, and the Professional Golf Association.

In 2010, West took a detour from sports to produce “The Safe Side of the Fence”. He is a two-time National Emmy Award winner for his coverage of Major League Baseball. Prior to entering the sports arena, he worked in network news for ABC NEWS, CBS NEWS, and NBC NIGHTLY NEWS.
