    Women 100, a program of Vision Forward, is hosting "Seat at the Table," an exhibition that commemorates the 19th Amendment — establishing women’s right to vote — and asks 100 years later, “Where are we now?” Visitors will experience the current status of gender equality in the U.S. through 3D infographic furniture.

    Seat at the Table will be presented in the lobby daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., through March 2022. A virtual tour and the multimedia segment of the exhibition are available. In addition, an educator's guide is available for download for teachers, youth leaders and parents.

    The Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages invites you to attend a panel discussion as part of their Global Passport Series. “Immigration in the United States Today: A Land of Opportunity or Exclusion?” will feature Julia Rose Kraut, author of Threat of Dissent: A History of Ideological Exclusion and Deportation in the United States (Harvard UP, 2020), and Amy Eusebio, Executive Director of the Office of Immigrant Affairs for the City of Philadelphia.

    Julia Rose Kraut ’03 is a lawyer and historian who specializes in immigration and First Amendment law and history. Most recently, she was the inaugural Judith S. Kaye Fellow for the Historical Society of the New York Courts and an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellow at the New-York Historical Society. Kraut is the author of Threat of Dissent: A History of Ideological Exclusion and Deportation in the United States (2020), which was featured in The New York Times; she is also a contributor to the 2020 book Whistleblowing Nation: The History of National Security Disclosures and the Cult of State Secrecy.

    Amy Eusebio is a proud first-generation American, Afro-Latina, and daughter of Dominican immigrants. Eusebio joined the City of Philadelphia in 2018 as Municipal ID Program Director and was responsible for launching the PHL City ID. She has more than 15 years of experience working in non-profit social services. Eusebio’s previous roles included a focus on ensuring the programs she was part of were culturally responsive to the immigrant communities they were intended to serve. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education in social work, earning a bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a master’s from the University of Pennsylvania.
