In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA as Amendments Act (ADAAA), and Drexel University's commitment to equal access for people with disabilities, an appeal process has been established for individuals who believe they have been denied reasonable accommodations by Disability Resources.
To file an appeal, please submit a written Letter of Appeal to the Associate Vice President of Equality of Diversity, within thirty (30) business days of the alleged denial. The Letter of Appeal must include:
- Name and University ID number of appellant
- Basis for appeal and any supporting evidence
- Request for relief or remedy
