Volunteers Needed to Bring in the Dragons
Enrollment Management & Student Success is looking for Drexel faculty and staff to volunteer at Move-In Day — but don’t worry, you won’t have to do any heavy lifting.
On Saturday, Sept. 10, thousands of new students will move into residence halls and on-campus housing. The process for moving belongings and items is already in place, but volunteers are needed to help students and their families get situated on campus. This includes welcoming and greeting new Drexel Dragons as well as helping direct people to the appropriate locations on campus.
“Move-In Day will be a celebratory day for new students and their families and serves as the perfect opportunity to formally welcome these new members of the Drexel community,” said Subir Sahu, PhD, vice president and dean of Student Life.
If you’re interested, there will be volunteer opportunities throughout the day for all Drexel faculty and professional staff. If you are interested in volunteering for Move-In Day, you can register here. There are available time slots for the morning (7 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and afternoon (noon to 5 p.m.). Volunteers can also sign up to work all day.
