Emergency Landline Stickers to be Distributed Across the University

One of the key themes of the Drexel University Strategic Plan is that we are gradually transforming into “One University,” with comparable facilities, policies and procedures. A One University Committee was formed at the request of President John Fry, with members from across all campuses who represent professional staff, faculty and students. The first thing the committee identified was that many people don’t know what number to call in case of an emergency, especially in buildings that are not owned by the University. To make it quick and easy for anybody to contact Public Safety, the committee developed the idea of landline phone stickers that prominently display the correct number to call.

So watch for these colorful stickers which will be delivered to your office soon.  And please remember that public safety is everybody’s responsibility at Drexel, so please don’t hesitate to make a call whenever necessary. (Please note that there are different instructions for making calls from phones in different buildings. The sticker below is an example; the instructions will not be the same for every phone.)
