Jeremy Nowak, PhD, a distinguished visiting fellow in the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation, was featured in a Jan. 19 opinion Q&A in the Philadelphia Inquirer regarding his new book, “The New Localism,” which argues that there’s a big power shift going on, from the nation-state to cities and metro communities, and from government to networks of public, private, and citizens working together to make change. Nowak co-authored the book with Bruce Katz of the Brookings Institute.
