Karen Weaver, EdD, an associate clinical professor in the Center for Hospitality and Sport Management, was quoted in a Feb. 26 Crain's Detroit Business story about the University of Michigan Athletic Department's $240 million debt and how it could be more difficult to recoup it as television contracts are becoming less lucrative due to people watching sports on multiple other media platforms.
