Akhil Vaidya, PhD, a professor in the College of Medicine, was featured in the May issue of Philadelphia magazine for his team’s malaria research efforts. The article also featured the work of College of Medicine faculty including Jeffrey Jacobson, MD, professor and chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine; Irwin Chaiken, PhD, professor; Yanik Vibert, DO, assistant professor; and Cameron Abrams, a professor in the College of Engineering. In addition, Daniel V. Schidlow, MD, Annenberg Dean and senior vice president of medical affairs, was quoted.
