Kenneth Lacovara, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in a Philadelphia Daily News Q&A on Sept. 20 about his discovery of the dinosaur species Dreadnoughtus schrani, and in a Boston Globe article about how dinosaur species names are chosen on Sept. 21. Lacovara and the Academy of Natural Sciences were mentioned on KYW-TV (CBS-3) on Sept. 20 for the Academy’s “Dreadnoughtus Day,” when fossils from the dinosaur were on display.
