Tetris in the sky: Gamers play on Philly building

On April 6-7, Frank Lee, PhD, an associate professor in Westphal College, was mentioned and quoted in various online, print and broadcast stories about his project that turned the 29-story Cira Centre into a giant game of Tetris. Among them, a story in the Associated Press about his work was picked up by more than 1,000 news outlets domestically and internationally, including The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, The Telegraph (UK), CCTV (China) and the Daily Mail (Canada).  He was also featured in a New York Times blog post and video, and stories posted to the online sites of USA Today, BBC News, Sports Illustrated, Popular Mechanics, Slate, Salon, TIME, FOX News, ABC News and NBC News. Lee and the event were also mentioned in segments on FOX’s “FOX and Friends,” CBS’ “CBS Evening News,”ABC’s “Good Morning America” and WTXF-TV (FOX-29). Additionally, several tech blogs covered the event and mentioned Lee’s contributions, including Polygon, Vice, Ubergizmo, SlashGearEngadget, C|Net, Gizmodo and ArsTechnica. View Story
