Dr. Ted Daeschler, a vice president and associate curator at the Academy of Natural Sciences and associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer article on September 20 about a new crowdfunding campaign to preserve Pennsylvania’s top 10 endangered artifacts, one of which is a pair of butterfly specimens held at the Academy. The Philadelphia Metro also featured the campaign.
